SADAC half marathon 2016

Welcome to the Stroud and District Athletic Club website.

We are an Athletics club based in Stroud, Gloucestershire that provides coaching and training for a wide range of athletic activities from beginners running, junior athletics, Cross Country all the way through to Elite running activities.

Whatever your interest or ability we can help.

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursday and details of where we meet can be found in the box below.

Club Communications and Website Feedback Meeting

On Thursday 31st after the club runs @ 19:45 we will be holding a short Communications / Website feedback meeting at the The Old Crown Pub round the corner from Archway.

Welsh Castles Relay Team - 9th / 10th June

We are just in the process of finalising our team for this years Welsh Castles Relay. This is a 2 day, 20 stage, 211 mile staggered relay race, held mostly on road but with many hills and mountains on route from Caernarfon to Cardiff with an overnight stay in Newtown. Fantastic Results this weekend

After some great weather this weekend, Stroud runners were out and about putting in some amazing performances.

Stroud Trails Quarter results:  1st Nathan Marshall 54:27, 5th Mark Calverley 58:47, 7th Mike Clark 1:00:46, 12th Nikki Owen 1:04:36, 27th Tom Dorey 1:11:14, 56th Christine Reynolds 1:25:58, 57th Amanda Merrett 1:26:01.

Parent information sessions - Club Welfare

Tuesday 22nd 6 - 6.30 pm and Thursday 24th May 6.30 -7 pm

Parents of junior club members are invited to come and meet the club's welfare officers, Ryan Major and Penny Howard, on one of the above dates in the Jack Russell meeting room upstairs at Archway sports centre. They will provide an overview of their roles within the club, talk through the Welcome pack andand answer any questions parents may have.
