Club athlete selected for British Athletics Indoor Championships

Annie Testar will be competing at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow this weekend (22-23 February) Not yet 18, and despite no indoor track facilities in the Stroud area, Annie has been selected to compete in the 800m at Glasgow. She will probably be the youngest in her race but has a mature outlook and will, I’m sure, take this opportunity in her stride. Chedworth Midsummer Run-out – Thurs 9 July

A trail run starting at Chedworth Cricket Club starting at 7.00pm on Thursday 9th July 2020. A picturesque run of approx. 6.5 miles to raise funds for Chedworth Cricket Club & their chosen charity across beautiful Cotswold countryside, through Withington Woods and returning through Chedworth Woods. First Aid for Runners course – Wed 11 March

I have arranged a First Aid for Runners course with 2nd Chance First Aid at 18:30 on Wed 11 March for Club Coaches and Run group Leaders. The course takes 3 hours, is very practical and covers issues that groups might encounter whilst out running, including dealing with wounds, giving CPR and use of a defibrillator. Following the success of the summer sessions for our junior triathletes, we are running another six week course every other Sunday afternoon.
