Thinking of joining the Club?
If you are interested in joining the club, why not come along and see for yourself what we have to offer?
The club caters for both junior (8 - 17 years old) and senior athletes (18-100+ year old) in most disciplines and covering most standards.
Senior running groups are almost always based from Archway during both the Summer and Winter seasons.
During the Winter period, alternative arrangements are made for junior and some senior training.
We would like to ensure that new members are happy with the facilities and training offered by the Stroud & District Athletic Club.
For new members who are interested in joining the club, the first three sessions of training are free. After the initial trial period, you will then be asked to join the club and pay the membership fee.
Membership is on an annual basis with a single payment. The club does not charge a per session or monthly fee.
Club membership runs from 1st April to 31st March.
The club has various membership options to suit most single Junior, Senior or Over 65 members, Associate members (non competing member) or Family groups (living at the same address).
Membership and England Athletic charges are non-refundable and are detailed in the membership form.
To join, simply download the appropriate form below and return to the address shown on the form.
The PDF membership forms are now fully electronic which can be completed using a compatible application e.g. Adobe Reader
Help us save on waste and administration by completing electronically and paying by BACS.
Individuals joining the club as NEW members between Feb-March 2018 will be registered through to 31st March 2019 thereby receiving up to 2 additional months membership for free.
Please note that this does not apply to existing or previously registered members.
Returning members are asked to contact the Membership Secretary for instructions on renewing their membership.
EA licences are not applicable to U11. They are mandatory for Juniors and optional for Adults.
Where an athlete competes in a UKA licensed event, they must have a valid EA licence to represent the club and participate in team competition results whilst gaining a reduced entry fee (normally saving £2).
Note: not all events are licensed by UKA e.g. ARC license races also.
Stroud & District A.C. does not enforce Adults to purchase an EA licence and each Adult must decide for themselves if they require a licence. All licence monies are passed directly on to England Athletics.
We are a family friendly club and we have introduced two new family rates accounting for both single parent and dual parent families. In both cases the second child is free. The family membership rates include EA licenses for 2 Juniors.
Families with more than two children are encouraged to contact the club before completing the membership forms.
The club year commences on 1st April and all existing members are asked to renew in the latter half of March to be ready for the beginning of the new club year.
Note: Where memberships are not renewed and the member continues to train with the club, the club reserves the right to ask the member to leave the training facilities.
