SADAC Donates £1500 to Stonehouse Rotary

As part of the support from the locals of Frampton on Severn for the Frampton 10k, the club has donated £1,500 to the Stonehouse Rotary Club. Last night the club held its annual private club race at Cherrington. 51 club members took part on a beautiful evening with some great support from club volunteers and spectators. 3 Stroud juniors were selected to represent Gloucestershire Exeter today all brought home medals from a very hot Exeter on Sunday. Tom Mortimer became the first Stroud athlete to represent the GB team at the European U23 track and field championships.

On Saturday in Tallinn, Estonia it was beautiful clear and sunny day simmering at 32C, not great conditions for Mortimer who has struggled in these type of conditions before over the 5000m distance.
