British Miler Club 1k Time Trial

  • Over the bank holiday weekend 7 junior club members completed in the British milers club 1k time trials and uploaded there results online.
  • All Stroud results were excellent and many would if they had been in competition have broken both club road and track records.
  • The oldest runner was 18 year old Annie Testar who backed up her 3rd place in the U20W Roger Bannister 1 mile time trial at the beginning of May with 3rd in the 1k time trial. Annie time of 2min 53s would have shattered the club U20 and Senior record by 18s.
  • 15 year old Lexie Bull finished 19th in her age group with time of 3min 09s which would have reduced the U17W record by 10s
  • 13 year old Sienna Rosewell finished 16th in her age group with a time of 3min 16s which would have shattered the U15G record by 18s,
  • 13 year old Ester Rumsey finished 37th in her age group with a time of 3min 29s which was 5s below the club record.
  • 13 year old Sebastian Forrest finished 26th in his age group with a time of 3min 23s.
  • 12 year old Charlotte Evans finished in 4th Place in the U13 age group with a time of 3min 30s which would have shattered the club record by 24s!
  • 12 year old Izzy Merriman finished in 50th place in the U13 age group with a time of 3min 36s, which would be 18s below the club record
  • 12 year old Bella Monk finished in 60th  place in the U13 age group with a time of 3min 42s which was  would be 12s below the club record.
