We have been notified by the CWR organisers that this year we will only be allowed 3 teams in the Cotswold Way Relay. They had 126 applications for the 100 places and as such have decided to limit all clubs to a maximum of 3 teams.

The race will take place on Saturday June 29th with full details here >>

As a result of this the club will be entering in the following 3 teams:

Senior Men

Senior Ladies

Mixed Team

The Senior Mens team will be selected from club runners by Alan Pitt who is making contact with team members now.

The Senior Ladies team will be selected from club runners by Jo Fifield – if you have put your name down already Jo has you on the list, if not please let us know via email or by signing up here.

The mixed team will then be drawn from all names that have been put forward but have not made one of the first 2 teams. This will be a team of 5 men and 5 ladies with a reserve for each leg.

Any runners who have expressed an interest in wanting to run a specific leg, especially if trying to complete the King or Queen of the Cotswolds (someone who has run all 10 legs) will be allocated their preferred leg if they make one of the teams.

So far 44 runners have put their names down as wanting to represent the club and so if you would like to register your interest then you can by following this link. This information will only be used to contact you about the relay races and nothing else. If you would prefer you can email you details to us here.

The club squad must be declared in full by May 21st this year with no changes allowed after that so don’t delay let us know if you want to take part.
