I was delighted that the Club was able to donate £1,500 from the proceeds of Frampton 10K 2019 to Stonehouse Rotary Club Community Fund and yesterday I was invited to the Awards presentation at the Frocester George to see the successful applicants receive their grants. The main aim of the Community Fund is to provide effective support to a wide variety of local charitable projects. This year the successful applicants were: Saul Playgroup (purchase of sensory play equipment), Homestart, Stroud District (volunteer support), 1st Elmore Guides (Jamboree camp at Windsor), Stonehouse Pensioners Social Club (social event) and Park Infants PTA (equipment purchase). It was good to see how well our donation was received and used.
