World Mental Health Day – Sat 10 Oct #RunandTalk


As it is World Mental Health Day on Saturday 10th October 2020 , our Mental Health Champion, Lewis Saunders, is planning a #RunAndTalk event on this day as endorsed by England Athletics.

A #RunAndTalk event is where people from the local community can come together and have a run and chat. For some it might be a rare opportunity to get out and exercise in the company of others. If we start near a Coffee shop we can continue afterwards with a well earned coffee and cake there!

It would be nice to offer a number of sessions of different distances (maybe from 1k to 5k) to make the event as inclusive as possible but, to do so, we will need the support of the Club’s qualified leaders.

If you would like to get involved and can spare an hour or two on 10 Oct please contact Lewis ( to register your interest. We can then start to plan and advertise the sessions.
